Andrew Litton extends his contract as Bergen Philharmonic music director
Andrew Litton his extended his contract as music director of Norway’s Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra to the end of the 2010-11 season.Since the conductor’s appointment in 2003, the orchestra has appeared at Vienna’s Musikverein, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, debuted at the BBC Proms in London and toured the United States for the first time in 41 years.
